An lifelong enthusiast of learning, teaching, and spirituality, Kelly Noel Zeva is a registered Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master Teacher, and she has been practicing Reiki since 2016. In her energy healing sessions with clients, she also incorporates intuitive singing/toning, guided visualizations, and past/parallel life regressions on an as-needed basis.

The Classes

Typically, Reiki 1&2 classes are offered back-to-back as a weekend-long retreat (Saturday and Sunday). William Rand of the International Center for Reiki Training recommends taking Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 together, which is why we structure the retreats/classes this way. Currently, all of these classes are offered from our office at the Joyful Healing Playground in Monona, Wisconsin.

Usui/Holy Fire Reiki 1

In Reiki 1, you’ll learn to give yourself and others Reiki in close proximity. We cover what Reiki is, the different levels of Reiki, its history, and research that has demonstrated Reiki’s effectiveness in a clinical setting. You’ll also learn about the chakra system, the five Reiki Ideals, Gassho meditation, Byosen scanning, opening and closing Reiki sessions, charging and bartering for sessions, and how to practice Reiki ethically. From a hands-on perspective, you’ll connect with Reiki energy, you’ll give yourself Reiki, and you’ll give one of your classmates a Reiki session.

Total class time is 8 hours, including 30-60 minutes for lunch, and ample breaks.

Exchange for Reiki 1&2: $397

Usui/Holy Fire Reiki 2

In Reiki 2, you’ll learn to give Reiki across time and space, and you’ll empower your practice by learning three Reiki symbols (distance, emotional/mental healing, power symbol). We’ll start by reviewing any content from the previous day before practicing Reiki symbols and having a short, informal test on them. After your placement, you’ll experience what it’s like to give group Reiki, as well as practice intermediate healing techniques, like giving Reiki through the eyes and the breath. We’ll close by discussing how to gain experience with Reiki and how to prepare yourself for taking a Reiki Master/ART class before ending with a final meditation.

Total class time is 8 hours, including 30-60 minutes for lunch, and ample breaks.
